Help us make Eugene and Springfield Cities of Kindness in Oregon

Spreading Kindness Campaign

A grassroots citizen’s initiative to create a culture of kindness in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon.
One small act of kindness at a time.

Spreading Kindness encourages random and intentional acts of kindness throughout all aspects of our community, including personal, family, neighborhoods, schools, government, policing, businesses and organizations.

Choose Kindness: Wear a Mask

Wearing a mask is an act of kindness because doing so protects others more than it protects ourselves.

Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, considerate, and helpful.

Kindness is action that relieves suffering and promotes well-being.

Kindness is not for the benefit of self. It is altruistic.

Kindness is contagious; people who experience or witness kindness are more likely to be kind in the future.

Our goal is to help Eugene/Springfield join other communities as Cities of Kindness.

Anaheim, CA and other cities across the U.S. serve as models for City of Kindness initiatives.
